Containers for Change visits Substation33
Last week, members of the Containers for Change executive team Mick Shea, Allison White, Petra Kliese, and CEO Natalie Roach GAICD had the pleasure of spending time with our partners at Substation33.
The team saw first-hand how Containers for Change is supporting Substation33 to achieve its mission of providing job skills training and employment through e-waste and container recycling.
Located in Slacks Creek, workers in this facility sort containers collected from Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and the Brisbane City refund point, which is also operated by team members from Substation33.
Thank you to founder, Tony Sharp and his team for showing us the ropes!
