PowerWells lights up North Queensland

Brad and Simon recently visited Yarrabah to install PowerWell units made by young people from the local PCYC. For many families here, life off grid means relying on petrol generators, spending up to $140 per week to power the basic necessities. We are grateful to the Yarrabah community for allowing us into their homes and sharing their stories.

Lovely news for us, life changing news for people who gained access to reliable and quiet power.

*Yarrabah is a coastal town and locality in the Aboriginal Shire of Yarrabah, Queensland, Australia. It is an Aboriginal community located near Cairns, with an approximated population of 2500, there are many there who lack access to mains power.
