Substation33 Grand Opening

Last Friday, 28th March, was a big day for Substation33 with our grand opening at our new site (Units 9 & 10  24 - 26 Ellerslie Road Meadowbrook). We had a lot of important partners and friends join us to mark the start of the next part of our journey, including a bus full of participants in the Brisbane Social Enterprise Tour coordinated by Impact Boom and Business for Good Network.

We were grateful for the presence of  Logan Mayor Jon Raven, who has been a champion of Substation33 since well before his mayoral appointment, Crs Tony Hall and Tim Frazer, and  YFS CEO Christopher John. We were also thrilled to have many more of our valuable supporters present. We can’t name you all but we are thankful for your presence.

We hosted tours of our new building and attendees got to see some exciting new projects we have in the works. Although it was raining, the atmosphere was buzzing (in part due to bottomless Solar Coffee?), and it was a wonderful way to celebrate the efforts of our staff, who worked so hard to make the move as smooth and successful as it was.
